Slam Poet Andrea Gibson @ Kutztown

Kutztown Internship Fair

The Career Development Center at Kutztown University is holding its annual Internship Fair on Wednesday,  October 12, from 1-4 p.m. in the MSU MPR.

Over 35 employers (.pdf) are registered to attend and are looking for interns from all majors. Students are expected to attend professionally dressed with resumes in hand.

The CDC is also holding two Internship Fair preparatory sessions: Rezumania, where potential interns can have their resumes reviewed on the spot, and an information session titled "How to Work a Career Fair."

Please Touch Museum Media / Communications Internship

Please Touch Museum, the Children’s Museum of Philadelphia, is seeking a college student majoring in Communications, Public Relations or a related field who is eager to gain hands-on communications experience. A flexible schedule is available; however, candidates must be available 15-20 hours/week. This Internship is unpaid, but college credit may be granted.

Intern must exhibit strong organizational, communication, and project-management skills and have an interest in non-profit and/or the museum field. Intern will also be responsible for providing quality customer service. Position reports to the Director of Media Relations & the Communications Specialist and works closely with the entire External Relations Department. Some weekend and/or evening work may be necessary.

Assist in the management and implementation of programs for the External Relations Department; Assist in the development of online calendar presence;
Assist in Museum’s social media communications;
Assist in distribute press releases for target audiences;
Respond to media requests for information;
Research, implement and develops programs for Media Relation;
Manage various databases and information request fulfillment;
Provide additional administrative support; and
Others duties as assigned.
Experience using Cision or a comparable media database preferred but not required.
