Morning Call Writing Opportunity

The Allentown Morning Call has a great opportunity for college students interested in writing and we're hoping you can help spread the word to students who possess strong writing skills.

Every Friday we publish iThink, an opinion column written by area teens and college students. Students can write on almost anything of interest, from rising college costs and job outlooks to presidential elections and cell phone bans. The columns are typically 550 to 600 words. We usually need them a week before publication.

If students are interested, we put their name on a group e-mail list and send out notices seeking submissions. Students can suggest their own ideas, but we make suggestions as well.

Our column provides a great opportunity for students who want to supplement their work on student newspapers and obtain clips from a newspaper.
If you know of any students, please send them our way. We have attached an e-mail that you can send to students.

If you have any questions, please contact Bob Orenstein via e-mail at robert.orenstein@mcall.com or via telephone at 610-820-6133.

Thanks for your help.
